In 2019, the Uherské Hradiště Summer Film School opened a five-year visual cycle on the theme of Film with All Senses. Given the ice cream logo of the festival and the design of the AČFK Annual Awards, we couldn't have started any other way than with taste.
The Association of Czech Film Clubs' distribution jingle includes the slogan "Many flavours of film". We don't buy all films for the cinemas, but only some of them – the ones we like and the ones we have money for.
This year, the visual identity of the Uherské Hradiště Summer Film School will say goodbye to the theme Film with All the Senses. After taste, sight, hearing and touch, we will connect the 49th edition with the last sense – smell/breath – and introduce it with the motto I Breathe for Film.
"Smell is one of the senses. It is the ability to sense chemicals dissolved in air or water. This sensation is then referred to as smell. Let's smell the film together, breathe for it."

The hand is the most distal part of the upper limb of the human body from the torso, which allows an individual to interact with the environment and manipulate objects. The basic manifestation of the hand is the ability to grasp made possible by the thumb opposable to the other fingers. Use the fingers to press play and touch the film.

The outer ear is specially designed to send sound into the ear canal. The vibrations travel further down the ear canal and hit the eardrum. The eardrum vibrates and these vibrations affect the ear bones. The ossicles vibrate, amplifying the sound, which then travels further into the ear to the cochlea. This process happens every moment of every day, just like breathing or blood circulation. Let the films at LFS 2021 vibrate you too.

The eye is the carrier of emotions.
The eye is the gateway to the viewer's soul.
The eye is one of the senses of perception of the film.
The eye can see near and far.
The eye is the path to knowledge.
Eighty percent of the world is perceived through the eyes, so don't hesitate to open them wide.

Stick out your tongue, use all eight muscles, because only through them can you speak. Finish your ice cream and run to the auditorium for more movie snacks.
